New Knife: San Mai Construction

This is my latest completed work:  it’s 7.75″ overall, with 3.5″ blade of cable Damascus in San Mai style construction with a core of 1084 steel. Pinned and epoxied in a handle of Barren Ground Caribou antler with a rawhide wrap. This neck knife sheath has a cutout of a turtle on it. When the knife is in the sheath the pattern of the blade shows through to create the turtle’s shell. Journeyman Smith stamp. This one must be seen to truly appreciate.
